you do see some low clouds up in the east bay hills, upper in albany there from berkeley.og back at the coast tonight but not a lot of it. when you get a trough like this, it breaks up the inversion. so, the inversion, all it is is a lid on the atmosphere. that allows summertime fog to form. when the lid comes off, when this guy comes in, the fog comes off. it really has a difficult time existing. in the winter months, this is rain. in the summer months, this is clear coast and cooler weather. that's what we are seeing. relatively clear coast and cooler weather. this low pressure lingers tomorrow and a little bit into wednesday, but then temperatures start to come back a few degrees. by thursday and friday, we'll see numbers back into the mid- 80s, upper 80s, even low 90s. but, just one day of big warmth and after that it cools off again. overnight lows, upper 30s and low 40s in some of the cool spots in the north bay. starting to feel fall like. and this is the forecast model. this is the fog footprint for tomorrow morning. you can see, once they put it up into her -- fai

we talk about the freedom summer oror the birmingham campaign, te albany campaigns, various campaigns throughout the south during the '60s, but the mugshots really allow us to know the people in the freedom rides at an individual level. i think, what i try to do in shaping the book and the information that is included in the details about each of the people i'm writing about is sort of you can see the strains of the movement and the conflicts of the movement itself, and the story the movement played out in individual peoples lives. there was a great debate in the movement in the early '60s about direct action versus lawsuits. the naacp was very pro-litigation and that yielded victories like brown v. board, but young people like ms. travis in the freedom riders, they wanted to act. it wanted to act now. they wanted freedom now. and so you can see that being played out in the interviews. at another sort of conflict was whether he believed in nonviolence as a way of life or a tactic that may work in this particular instance. and so you see people sort of struggling without themselves. ca
