when i was a kid albert einstein in one of the introduction in his books. he said look, if you want to be a genius it's not enough to come up with a theory only seven men in the world can understand. you have to be able to come up with a theory only seven men in the world can understand and then be able to explain it to clearly that anyone with a high school education and a reasonable degree of intelligence can understand it. in other words, albert einstein said if you want to be a scientist, kid, you have to be a writer. when somebody walked up to me when i was 26 or something like that and they said do you want to edit the making and i didn't know what it was about and it turned about this music i had never listened to, rock and roll. by putting all that i am into what i was doing with that magazine, working at it seven days a week, without vacations and regarding it as the greatest mystery and the greatest opportunity i have ever been given in my life, it came alive to me in ways that were utterlily astonishing and it became exactly what i needed. so one
