[laughter] emily: well that has to count for something. mike: one step at a time. emily: how do you respond to that? mike: elon musk is at the top of the game so he may see things differently. i am not going to ever say that elon musk, that i know silicon valley better than elon musk. we are looking for a comedy, not to just glorify and put it up on a pedestal. emily: peter thiel, another venture capitalist, is a huge fan. perhaps you might poke fun at him in season one with a guy named peter gregory. i know that some of these people you talk to

what is alec? >> it's a corporate bill mill.ion, putting it into the hands of legislator who go back and file. >> alec bills come complete with blanks where legislators need only fill in their state name like the asbestos claims priorities act. this georgia law that now prevents many asbestos victims from suing corporations. >> this is money from corporations to legislators, but it's being filtered through alec and they get a tax write-off? >> well, al select a 501-c-3 operation. >> donations are 100% tax deductible, and fund education efforts for legislators. who is doing the educating? inside that closed door committee room in savannah we couldn't show you, we saw the lobbyist for the cell phone industry seated across from georgia state rep ben harman right before we were pulled out. >> we're credentialed to observe legislators here in georgia wherever they meet to discuss laws. he is calling for backup. alec staffers had four offduty sheriff's deputies standing by while we talked with the group's director of communications. c

lisa: that was a speech to alec. was saying is that the goal is to abolish the public schools. this is a radical, extreme goal and it had been his goal since at least 1955. that goal has been joined by numerous billionaire families in this country, including the koch brothers. when david coker ran for vice president, one of his platforms was to abolish privatized public schools. they wanted to do abolish the department of education they've talked about the need to get rid of education. they have joked about it. this is supported by the amway fortune, the walmart foundation -- all of them have basically wrapped their agenda in the words of choice that milton friedman suggested. they say it is about choice, when, in fact, there is an idea that is hostile to public schools. the radicals in the country, including fred koch, believed that the idea of public schools is communist or socialist -- which is ridiculous. it is one of the innovations of america that has made our country strong. what we have seen through alec is t
