aleen gabey from the maryland spca brought him in today. he's up for adoption.eing a little nutty, tell us about himp. >> 's coming into his own personality. he's about eight to ten weeks. shepherd mix is our guess. he has a lot of energy. someone who has time and patience. he is a smart guy so he should learn quickly. >> and he's teething right now as puppies do. >> and how. >> one interesting thing you brought up about puppies, though. you guys give them baby food. what's that all about? >> i actually brought some of the bottles of what we use. it's gerber level 2. we love to get the little meat kind. it helps if we have baby puppies or kittens who aren't eating on their own very well. maybe they don't have their mom with them. this is a way to encourage them to eat because we want them to be healthy and gain weight. we tried this and it seems to work well. the meat varieties are what work. we don't want strained peas or anything like that. they're just not interested. it also is nice for older pets when may not be feeling withle. they need to eat and hydrated
