alex marquardt leads us off tonight. alex? >> reporter: good evening cecilia, lots of questions to night about exactly what kind of illness andreas lubitz had. his last checkup was a while ago. it was last year. now the fbi has question about trainers who worked with lubitz during his time in the u.s. as investigators dig through lubitz's apartment looking for clues, they have reportedly found large amounts of medication for a "psychosomatic illness" and evidence he was severely depressed, according to the german newspaper, die welt. this after german prosecutors said doctors' notes saying lubitz was unfit for work were found torn up in the trash.
