ktvu alex savidge is joining us now to tell us what may have led up to the accident.ood morning alex. >> reporter: dave, good morning to you. we have just learned new informs about this single car crash. everyone inside was either a teenager or in their early 20s. the car that they were all riding in lost control, veered into on coming lanes and slammed right into this utility pole. the force of the crash knocked out the signal lights. you can see they are flashing red here this morning. the accident just before 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of pleasant hill road and taylor boulevard. all of the victims were inside this lexus sedan that was pretty badly damaged. everyone was taken to john mere hospital. everyone is expected to survive their injuries. police officer also said they are investigating the possibility of the dui but they do not believe at this point that alcohol played a role. that is the understanding they have right now. it's also unclear exactly where this group was coming from or going to and in fact police tell me there was a bit of a language barrier
