cnn's alexandra field followng the developments and joining us live from seoul.d morning to you, alexandra. what do we know this morning? >> reporter: good morning, dave. well, look, this is the beginning of a massive investigation. you're talking about more than 300,000 cases, more than 150 countries. so, yes, there are a lot of governments around the world who want to know who is at the root of this attack, and the job of figuring that out falls on security firms and researchers. one breakthrough now is that a researcher at google has said that code used in the attack bears similarities to code that has been used by a north korean hacking group called the lazarus group. no comment from google, but two major security firms are saying they have found the same similarities. they say this is still a weak connection. they need stronger connections. and another security firm says that the similarity is not unique enough to point in any definitive way to the operator here, but this is one piece of evidence that certainly researchers and security firms are going to be

fox5's alexandra limon has the details.sexual assaults and they not supported by the university. the historically black college in washington d.c. was slapped with wednesday. five females students alleging miss action and mishandling of investigations after they reported rapes april sexual assaults on campus. some of the women say they were harassed and confronted by their attackerses after reporting what happened and they claim the university did nothing. in march of last year, a protest broke out and there was a fire storm on twitter after two of the victims discovered they were attacked by the same student. our clients perspective is that if the university had taken action on that first report he may not have been on campus. he may not have you ever met our other client and she may not have been attacked. no means no was spread around campus and on twitter and social media. people like having conversations about that on campus. wop of the women who spoke out on twitter affairs at howard university told her, quote, you em
