minutes later, members of the alexandria police department arrived on the scene.s nicole ba tag leah, kevin jobe and alex general sen joined the fight. special agent griener was shot in the leg. visited her in the hospital. she was hurt very badly. and shrapnel injured special agent baily as bullets swirld all around him. despite their injuries, both officers hee roikel continued to facedown the gunman until they brought him down. and he had rifles. they had handguns. that's a big difference. these officers saved the lives of every innocent person on the field that day. many of them friends of mike and myself. they are american heroes, and we absolute them. a man is in custody following a road rage incident in alexandria. a woman is alexandria. a woman is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot. the shooting happened yesterday on the short road connecting eisenhower avenue to the beltway. a witness tell us, the woman was driving an s-u-v, and blocked the man's van in.. then she and a man with her got out and started screaming at the van's driver. that's when the driver allegedly shot her. the suspect, ernest stickell of mechanicsville, maryland, turned himself in. he faces two charges, including malicious wounding. this morning a two-year-old boy is safe, after being abandoned at potomac mills mall in woodbridge. and an investigation is underway, into what caused day care workers to allegedly leave him there. on monday, marvin johnson left his son at the ebenezer baptist church christian academy's day care. police say day care employees left the toddler at the mall,. alone in his stroller. after about an hour, a custodian found the boy. the child's father says the custodian is a hero to him, and he wants to find he
