cbs's alexis christoforous reports from new york. >>> the woman at the center of new jersey governor chris christie's traffic scandal is keeping her mouth shut. a lawyer for brigette ann kelly says governor christie's deputy chief of staff is invoking her fifth amendment right not to imcriminate herself. she will not cooperate with a subpoena from the state legislative committee. >> i know everything i needed to know from a point of employment for bridget kelly and i fired her. >> reporter: it was an e-mail from her that cost her her job. she e-mailed a transportation official saying, time for some traffic problems in fort lee. a month later several toll lanes leading to the george washington bridge were closed creating days of traffic jams. during his monthly radio show monday, the governor repeated his earlier statements. >> before these lanes were closed, i knew nothing about it. i didn't plan it. i didn't authorize it. i didn't approve it. i knew nothing about it. >> reporter: christie's office is complying with the subpoenas but another former aide linked to the scandal is not.
