host: alfonso aguilar is executive director of the latino partnership for conservative principles.nk you for being with us. guest: thank you for having me. it's a pleasure to be here. host: where does the hispanic community fit into the republican party? guest: well, they are a natural constituency. they are pro life, pro traditional marriage, very entrepreneurial. hispanic businesses are growing three times as fast as the national average. and if you think about it, latino immigrants come to the united states, leaving their home countries where they've seen state-run economies, big government, and they are coming here because of our system of limited government and opportunities and freedom that is allow them to open businesses and be entrepreneurial. so they come here for less government, not more government. so frankly, i think they are a natural constituency for the conservative movement. sadly, the conservative movement has not been consistent in reaching out to latinos and frankly in the past four years the rhetoric from some members of the g.o.p. has been down right nasty. a
