ali rasmus joins us live from san jose with more on what police are doing to make sure this service stays safe. ali. >> reporter: police spokesman told ktvu that they have within working on the security plan for today's funeral service for the past two weeks. police say they obviously don't want any violence and they're not expecting any violence. however, police are going to have at least 70 uniformed officers outside the perimeter of the cemetery in san jose. those officers will be there during the gravesite funeral service of 52-year-old steve towson. he was a rye hanking member of the santa cruz hell's angel motorcycle club. he was shot and killed at the cemetery two weeks ago, during the funeral service of another hell's angels member. three to four thousand people attended that service. and police say that large crowd made it very difficult for them to respond to the shooting, secure the crime scene, and apprehend the shooter. so in contrast, today's funeral service for towson is supposed to be smaller, by invitation only. and police say that was a security precaution they worked ou
