ali converted to islam. does trump's eulogy and what trump tweeted as soon as he found out about his passing, muhammad ali isruly great champion. he will be missed by all. does that fall flat in light of some of the past comments that donald trump has made about muslims? >> first of all, i don't want to dishonor the memory of somebody i consider to be a true american hero. i grew up at a time when cassius clay became a symbol of greatness not just in the ring, but outside of the ring. he fought to enlarge the circle. this controversy about mr. ali's response to mr. trump's ban on muslims entering america and all of the other -- i think it dishonors muhammad ali memory. let us enjoy and raise up and celebrate the life of a truly great american, hero. and all of this controversy and who said what and why and the tweet, that's just part of the noise. i want to say, i love muhammad ali and i thank god that we had an opportunity for many of us to see him, to see him fight, more importantly, to see him outside the ring to try to lift up people and bring people together. that's what he was. he was the greatest. >>
