alice barr joins us now from baltimore. good morning. what is the latest on the search for the missing men? >> reporter: good morning, frances. we are just down the road from where the bridge should be spank the patapsco river. instead, it is in the water. we've all seen these images that are so stunning, the moment that a massive cargo ship, th, the lh of the e fmpire state building, crash flood a support pillar. and the tragedy that we know out of that is there was a construction crew that was fixing potholes on the bridge. eight workers that we have been told about, two of them were quickly pulled from the river, but six of them have not been found. and all day yesterday, there was an urgent search and rescue under way above the water, from the air, on the surface of the water, under the water using sonar technology. but late last night, essentially, they had to suspend that and said it has now shifted from a search and rescue effort to a recovery effort. the coast guard saying those six remaining missing construction workers are pres
