customers constantly tell me, alicia, we want to support you, but we're afraid to come to oakland.ed the number of chp officers in oakland to tackle property crime, retail theft and sideshows. the investment has produced record breaking results showing an increase in arrests and the recovery of thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise. it's also brought back customers to coco noir. at a news conference in oakland, governor newsom announced the chp will be sticking around a little longer. he's extended the program, but it comes with a caveat. the governor came down hard on oakland's police pursuit policy and wants it changed. the policy prohibits officers from going after suspects unless they have a firearm or are suspected of a violent crime. there aren't consequences. you could be drunk. you can run a red light. you can come close to sideswiping a school bus during the morning hours, right in front of a police officer. he called it an extreme outlier in california. that is hamstringed the state's efforts toward crime prevention. we need to see that policy changed. this commitmen
