hi, brad. >> hey, alison. you know what? big project getting a budget together. fiscal year 2015. we're talking about f.y. 2016. i want to show you three big books. take a look at this. i mean this is just page after page after page of numbers. that's what these budgets look like. that's what will be delivered to the legislatures here -- legislators here tomorrow. now, hogan and his staff have spent the last eight weeks working on balancing the budget trimming $700 million from the budget to fulfill a campaign promise. now, 24 hours into their term they say they have done it. at noon today hogan held a press conference as he announced the plans of his budget. he says he's going to cut 2% from all state agencies. there will be cuts to planned spending for education even though education spending will increase. he says it is a balanced budget. >> spending too much borrowing too much and overtaxing maryland families and businesses were the essence of my campaign. my f.y. 2016 budget fixes the first two problems and puts us in a great position to tackle the third. >>
