good evening, allen and hello, everybody, from the cbs 5 weather center. i have been monitoring this recent area of low pressure has us hanging out over the north bay and admittedly it's taken its time. it should have already been blasted through the bay area and on the way out but instead take a look at the city city of san francisco. a tenth of an an inch of rain accumulated up to 5 p.m. but we have plentiful amounts of rain to detect. in fact our live high-def doppler radar is indicating at this time the rain has been earnest across the northern portion of the district. minutes ago we had a heavy downpour at 580-680 corridor progressing east now. more rain upstream, however, in walnut creek. there you have the peninsula with the rain from san francisco, hit and miss around sfo where we have one hour and seven-minute delays due to a lowering ceiling. visibility is being restricted there due to the low clouds. and meanwhile there you have the north bay just socked in and the areas where you see the pockets of yellow. that's a more moderate rainfall. in fa
