and so it may be unnecessary to flip allen weisselberg.nk that when you have got someone like michael cohen, it's useful to have corroboration not only in the form of documents but other witnesses to back each other up. so i would think he is someone of value. but it is quite possible you could see him at a defendant's table along with donald trump. >> paul butler, what are you looking for as possible developments next, given that grand jury secrecy might just shut us out from this process completely? >> it probably will. so we are not likely to have a day-to-day or a week-to-week about what's going on. i imagine that prosecutors are presenting literally hundreds of thousands of pages of documents to the grand jury. that's why they impaneled a special grand jury because it's a case that has a long narrative and prosecutors want to tell a coherent story. in addition to the legal defense though, we know that president trump's move is to attack the investigators, to attack the prosecutors. and so we've already seen him do that with leticia ja

allen: it is a hard question to answer. i cleave more with the senator on this matter than probably anybody else. i do not know other than to commit to reenter the conversation about the jcpoa, we are not going to seat now come -- we are going to see an outcome like there that would look like in 2015 when it was ultimately successfully negotiated. but we do have to have some ultimate conversation about ballistic missiles, sunset clauses, we had to have a conversation about a regional approach to supporting the outcome. this is probably why the secretary is often in israel right now to have a conversation with our counterparts there. it is a good place to start. i do not have any expectation that the outcome of our conversation with the iranians and p5 plus one what looked like -- p5 plus one will look like at the end as what it looked like as we started. lots of water has passed under the bridge in the meantime. many changes in the region. the relationship with the chinese and the russians, which originally in 2015 resulted

it has to be something that's scaring allen. either there's a promise of a quid pro quo, which won't get him out of jail, and that's something that you would say, i don't know that he would take that. but maybe he's being threatened one way or the other. maybe trump has some information about allen. i would not be surprised if he did. and maybe -- or maybe other kinds of threats that allen is very aware that trump has done in the past and pulled off, and maybe allen is very, very terrified of that going forward. >> you had alluded to trump's power and that weisselberg was in awe of him. if the company were to face criminal charges, what impact do you think that would have on the organization? >> again, i go back to what is the organization? you know, there's so many different companies within it, and i imagine the buildings were held in llcs. i'm not sure what exactly the prosecutors are going after, but from my knowledge, allen is the most responsible person and he would be the target, and the penalties are very extensive, quit

that allen weisselberg would have incentive to flip to protect his children. he hasn't, obviously, done that, up until this point. are you surprised about that? >> well, yasmin, he absolutely has made it very clear. he's, so far, made his bed with donald trump. will allen throw his children under the bus, his sons, if -- instead -- to show his loyalty to donald trump? we don't know, yet. but he is sure getting a very clear signal that he's not making the right choice, if that's what he does in terms of his personal liberty. so -- and i'm not surprised he's having a terrible time breaking with the trumps. he has been identified with them. he's been doing donald trump's dirty work going back, now, to the 1970s. he's wholly owned psychologically by donald trump. >> glenn, one, last question to you here as we await this president's rally starting later on today. we know, this former president does not listen to his legal advisers if he is told not to talk about something. he has tweeted, numerous times, about things that he is probably not supposed to talk about.
