the temperatures in the south bay from mountain view at 59 on the warm end to milpitas at 50 and allen rock and san jose at 56 and campbell at 55 and safer telling and cupertino and santa clara and sunnyvale at 53. temperatures running around 50 in novato to 57 in alameda to 58 in redwood city and we are still pretty mild compared to this time yesterday. that is good news. the issue is this afternoon when the dangerous heat comes in. the drop is 10 to 20 degrees from saturday to sunday coinciding with showers that are light pop-up showers but they are in the forecast. the biggest thing is the drop in temperatures on friday with haze as we look back to the marine headlands. we have low-to-mid 90's from redwood city, and san jose, and 19 to 23 degrees warmer-than-average. look for the at terrific at 92 in san jose, and possible record high at los gatos and morgan hill and warmer at 95 and mountain view is 92 and possible record high and most of us are in the 90's from redwood city south and 80's san mateo north and low 70's to near 80 along the coast and the afternoon hours, that is when the

up this morning after a deadly triple stabbing and a six-hour manhunt and what started in this allen rock neighborhood yesterday afternoon. they detained 27-year-old reuben ramirez. they did not call him a suspect. they did say they did not have any other persons of interest. around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, a man came home to find three relatives stabbed. a 48-year-old woman, a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. the boy and the woman died. that man called police and called his brother, romero. >> translator: my brother told us to come fast, because we have a very big problem. he told us his wife was dead. >> reporter: more than 50 officers were involved in the manhunt. the child victims according to romero are his brothers niece and nephew. relatives said the dead woman may have been ramirez's mother and that he lived in the home on view month avenue. a pastor we spoke with said ramirez, the person of interest, has a history of mental illness and was off his medication and deputies apparently recently responded to a report of violence at this address very recently. the latest informat
