breaking news we started with at the top in antioch as fire threatening homes. 7 news reporter allen wong live on the scene with the latest on this. alan? >> the fir started around 7:15 at the foot of the hill behind me and quickly raced up and wrapped around some of these homes. so it turned to 3 alarm fire very quickly. it was threatening about 40 homes on this hillside. but about 65 firefighters surrounded it from the bottom and the top and were able to put it out. what helped firefighters say was the fact that if you could see the homes up there have a brick wall voungd them that's pretty much where the fire started that's where firefighters were also standing with fair hoses to douse it out. winds also gemly low out here today. and it only, they were able to keep it to about 4 acres so right now snuving out the last hot spot in this 4 acre fire out here off pony drive in antioch. >> stay on the story of course. more on 7 news at 11:00 o'clock and on twitter. if i time abc 7 news bay area. >> san francisco arch bishop is revving to pwunl tonight. standing firm on his decision to atten
