kcbs is actually reporting from bart allison that service will be restored around 7:30. they still have to complete the investigation and they won't start that until after sunrise so again 7:30 is the latest word. that is later than initially reported. the south hayward station closed. we spotted this tweet from matt bigler from kcbs. he has been reporting live from the scene all morning and you can see he says no trains from fremont are running but bart passengers can get free rides via ac transit to the bay fair station. you can transfer from the bay fair stop if you need to get into san francisco. you can use ac transit as well to get around the east bay, so far all those buses are on time. we have been talking to them as well this morning. or you can hit the roads so maybe a little more crowded on the nimitz on 880 but right now everything is still moving at the speed limit between hayward and your downtown oakland exits. we'll continue to watch that. that bart issue that is ongoing for at least the start of the morning commute. here's a live look at the bay bridge w
