chairman. >> thank you, senator allsop. i hope you are okay with a few more questions.we've been at it for a while. we've been very patient. >> do we have a choice? >> no. but thank you very much. it's been very useful. i want to follow-up on a number of the questions i've been asked. first of all, on the international issue. there are examples and models for international cooperation. mr. smith, you mentioned civil aviation. the 737, the 737 max. i think i have it right. when it crashed, it was a plane that had to be redone, in many respects. and companies, airlines around the world looked to the united states for that redesign. and that approval. civil aviation, atomic energy. not always completely effective, but it has worked in many respects. and so i think there, there are international models here, where, frankly, the united states is a leader by example. and best practices are adopted by other countries when we support them, and, friendly, in this instance, the eu has been ahead of us, in many respects, regarding social media. and we are following their leadershi
