if you were with allyson you saw the d.c. south and east and everybody west is under the heat advisory except for the mountains. the criteria west of the blue ridge is a little bit lower. we have to get 105 east of the blue ridge and 100 west. regardless, it will be a hot afternoon and that goes until 7:00 with heat indices between 100 west and 105-109 in the immediate area. storms are not likely. some storms toward indianapolis but nothing really to show you accept the heat and plenty of it. a good day to be inside and catch a movie or go to the beach. it was beautiful at the beach with the onshore breeze. some of the upper '80s like lovettsville and warrenton, 86 with 92 and in annapolis and north beach, mid-80s. that is close to the water temps with heat index values in the lower one hundredths. it feels like 103. futurecast, not much to show except the temperatures. did you see the isolated storm here and there? a very isolated storm and warm and muggy. at 10:00, upper 80s and overnight in the 70s to about 80 for the low.
