. >> first allyson rae standing by. good morning allyson. >> it is going to be a foggy start this morning. we're talking more rain in the forecast. however, the first thing that you're going to notice this morning is that there's going to be some lower visibility around due to that low lying fog. we're at 63 degrees. mild out there, but that dew point is relatively high. it's not a humid day by any means. frederick, your visibility is zero. so everywhere else is doing okay. the district, we're at 10 miles. there are some areas near bodies of water or low lying areas you are going to run into patchy dense fog. 270 and parts of 70 are going to be impacted by this. if that's part of your morning commute, take note of that. showers are going to be moving in as early as this afternoon. it is not going to be a washout until really about dinner time and thereafter. temperatures will be the coolest today. we're going to stay just shy of 70 degrees for most areas. isolated showers and then a steady rain will arrive we'll time it

. >> after a couple of yellow alerts this weekend for storms, allyson rae has a more promising forecast>> i think today might be the best looking day of them all. our rain chances are at their lowest for today. does that mean we're rain-free, no, of course not. it's may. we are looking at some dense fog out there this morning. if you're trying to get up early and beat the traffic home, we are looking at some fog as you head off to the west. visibility dropping down to a half a mile for manassas, warrenton and culpeper. by 8:00 this morning a lot of this fog will dissipate because we are going to warm up substantially today into the 80s. finally the 80s are here. 65 degrees right now, cloudy through d. c. we are going to see 64 for leesburg and 62 for waldorfment here are a couple of stray showers moving through hagerstown and myersville. we have a front coming through which could spark a few more showers during the middle of the day. they will be few and far between. most areas are going to stay dry. by lunchtime we're at 12:30. we are going to see sunshine out there west of 95. >> it's
