((" there are so many homeless people around and the comfots that the mat will bring them is really critical as well as helping the community by of the landfills"))--the group gathers at the west allis library.... every wednesday from four to seven--volunteers are welcome

where alof family and friends get to spend time where all of your family and friends get to spend time together.. and you don't want that being ruined by the small screen. but.. telling people to just put down the phone doesn't always work. of course.. people will want to take pictures of their food. everyone else on their social media will.. so i say.. set a time for pictures. minutes for the perfect food- porn lighting.. then tell everyone to throw their phone in a basket until dinner is done. another option.. i might make my family do this.. put all the phones in a pile in the middle of the table.. and the first person who pulls out their phone has to do the dishes.. or if you're like my mom.. and you use paper plates for thanksgiving.. the first to cave has to put away the food. trust me.. there will be leftovers. if you are banning phones.. make sure there is plenty to talk about. people use their phones as entertainment.. and if the conversation isn't entertaining. they will reach for that small screen. also be understanding.. even if cell phones drive you up a wall.. sometimes t
