the alstott foundation will also be out ?on thanksgiving day... delivering and serving food to families staying at the "ronald mcdonald house" in st.pete. those are the families whose kids are getting treatment at "all childrens hospital." today's deliveries begin around seven a-m on treasure island. and today is your last day to donate to a special christmas charity. it's called "operation christmas child." they are collecting shoeboxes packed with toys, school supplies , hygiene products and other items... to send them to children in need, overseas. the collections started last week... and they wrap up today, in every bay area county. the charity "samaritans purse" is behind it. they are hoping to collect fifty ?thousand boxes. you can find a list of drop off locations at have you tried the bay area's new ferry service yet? well this could be a good week to try. the cross-bay ferry is starting a ?free promotion the next three days called "testing the waters." admission fees are waived for all travellers. normally its ten dollars each way. the bo
