we now see the slowing out of the altamont pass.tbound 580 right on schedule out of livermore slowing into towards the heart of livermore, but the other incident on the left side of the screen is at the dublin interchange. a big point of concern that is off to the shoulder. westbound 580 at northbound 680 heading up to dublin and danville. a nice drive on 680 itself. moving up to antioch, we'll see the slowdown coming out of westbound highway 4. the disabled vehicle marked over in concord is off on the median northbound 680 near monument boulevard. it is not really causing a slowdown but it is a distraction as more folks hit the road. here's the maze showing nice speeds through the maze itself approaching the bay bridge toll plaza. here's a live look out there from the san francisco side. you can see all the way across, clear skies with a heavier volume of traffic. no major backup at the toll plaza. another half hour for the metering lights. focus on the roadway as christie smith shows you the construction on the side of the roadway

over here in livermore, moving smoothly out of the altamonte pass.nto the altamonte pass eastbound it is slowing down. 3:00 this afternoon we'll get the getaway traffic building. oakland and 880, traffic is slow past the coliseum. there's moisture in the air. from time to time we'll see some fog throughout the area, but right now oakland and most of the east bay hills are moving clearly. northbound with the taillights up to the bay bridge toll plaza, no delays. you are at the speed limit to downtown oakland. the light volume at the bay bridge itself. the slowdown will start at 6:35 and 6:40 for the build to build here. coming across the east shore freeway, a nice, easy drive down from the cartinas bridge. friday light so far. >>> thank you very much. all eyes in washington on the turmoil in egypt this morning. protestors and pro-government demonstrators clashing in the streets while the obama administration tries to work out a deal to bring an end to all the chaos we are seeing.
