once you head up to central pennsylvania, they are 52 in altoona. they are clear and under the influence of canadian high pressure. this cloud line across the bay, that means an improvement. even if you're waking up with clouds. this system continues to dive its way off to the south and off the coast. we're on the fringe of this cool pattern here. it does appear as if we'ring ? to stay generally -- we're going to stay generally dry. we're watching fast level winds in the mid-portion of the atmosphere, after sunset, before midnight could bring in showers. out of here by midnight. we're clear and chilly tomorrow morning. then dry tomorrow on in through wednesday. so today's two-degree guarantee, 85. pretty pleasant. cooler than yesterday's 90 which by the way was the first time we hit that all summer long. sunshine mixing with afternoon clouds, it will be a pleasant day. tonight with the chance of an evening shower before midnight and by daybreak wee clear out and cool down, 57. chilly by july standards. tomorrow, recover back to a high of 86 degrees.

60 seconds to tell you this, this, it's humid. 60 degrees this morning but slipped back to 59 in altoona. clear skies are working in. even though we're on the edge of this line of storms that erupted yesterday and did erupt to the east, not on top of the bay, that is good news but we've had a flare-up of storms yesterday and it dumped 2/3 inch of rain in westminster and passing through northern baltimore county. we're working in sunshine now. today will probably be drier, looks like just isolated showers popping up around the bay. because we do have the humidity in place. we'll have sunshine pushing our temperatures close to 90. tomorrow, a wave of low pressure will increase our chance of rain as we head through the day. that will continue on in through the rest of the week. today's two-degree guarantee 89, putting some of us in the low 90s. just an isolated shower in the afternoon. we'll settle back to 73. then we'll push mid-80s with more storms tomorrow. for a check of the roads here's kim. >> i'm getting word of downed trees at the dulaney valley road at manor road. use caution if yo

look at the low 60s in portions of pennsylvania. 60 altoona, compared to our lower 70s. we have a look at the radar from yesterday where we did flair up a very distinct line of showers and storms. something we talked about yesterday morning. it happened farther east. no complaints for us. they got beneficial rain lower eastern shore. storms around tidewater, virginia, but overall it flew out of here and we had one lone shower pass through carroll and baltimore county last night. we're on the edge of a cloud line that gives us a partly sunny setup, though clearing skies back to the west. we could wind up with more sun which would in and of itself boost temperatures today. i want to highlight the fact there's a wave of low pressure here across the deep south and that is going to ride its way in our direction. that is going to cloud us up tonight and on in through tomorrow increasing our shot of rain but for today just isolated storms. you'll see that pop up especially on the computer model around the bay this afternoon. we do expect a better chance of showers really throug
