madison alworth is here to explain.ison. >> reporter: hey, charles, when you think about our economy, food, housing transportation. so yesterday, car-mart posted its financial results that saw revenue up slightly 2.8% but retail units were down 4.6% and there were some serious red flags we got to talk about. so net charge-oafs. that is the debt which is owed to the company that is unlikely to be recovered, that rose 7.2% versus the 5.8% during the prior year second quarter. so it's bad to see that number go up. they say, the company says this is a return to 7.2 to pre-pandemic percentages. also we saw the allowance for credit loss, that also adjusted to 26.04%. and the loss per share, we're taking a look at that here, 4.3. the company set aside more money to cover potential credit losses than it had in previous quarters, 28 million-dollar charge to the provision, or a loss of $3 per share. essentially people are buying cars. they're not necessarily expecting them to pay back for those cars. when you take a look at the s
