alyssa joins us live from the fire command post. good morning. >> reporter: good morning.pdate from calfire and they told me they battled 12 fires overnight, the largest when burning here along marsh creek road. you can see several homes and write up on the home side, flames. several firefighters are trying to battle this, this is about 250 acres, more than 500 acres total have burned. firefighters have had to call in water tenders because it is a very rural area and they will bring in air support later on. one of the first fires was called in around 3:15 this morning, they were called in along marsh creek road and along morgan territory. firefighters tell me they responded to 12 total. at this point there is not a lot of wind but it is supposed to heat up. they have also called in about five strike teams. i can tell you there is a lot of smoke, we also saw firefighters stationed in front of different structures ready to protect those structures if needed. we also saw different ranchers out with their trailers getting ready to leave. i spoke with the battalion chief this m
