cbs reporter alyssa bacerra shows us how people are gearing up for the flood. >> the water is flowing more toward the river than over toward my house. >> reporter: sam and his family live roughly 3 yards from the creek. several days ago water filled this vineyard. the ground so saturated we had to use an atv just to get here. now concern that more water would compromise the levee system. >> i'm kind of high here. the concern is being landlocked and i won't be able to get out of here. >> i just hope to land in my neighbor's porch. still he's concerned about the river. >> we all are. the that's never a good thing. >> reporter: sean smith says he and his family are ready if the system turns. a water rescue team is headed for sacramento to be on stand by for potential flooding. it's the same team that went to oroville if the levee broke. >> one neighbor says she is relieved the neighbors are looking out. >> the fire department are very taxed so we have to do our part. >> we're look -bg for breaks in the levee, we're looking for boils on the edge of the levee. >> most people have not evacu
