abc7 news alyssa harrington >> happening today an open house and barbecue to celebrate the reopeningfire stationed that been shut down due to budget problems. the fire station 11 reopened after being closed for three years. the station was reviving with the help of a federal grant. open house and barbecue gets underway at 11:00 on the station at center street. larkspur ferry riders will have a new trip to san francisco beginning monday, according to our media partner "the marin independent journal." the golden gate ferry will at an 8:40 ferry run in the morning to handle a growing number of commuters. about 6,000 riders travel between san francisco and larkspur on certain days of the week and some ferries sell out. the new ferry run is expected to relieve the crowding and overflow from earlier ferries. still testimony ahead, big plans for a san francisco street makeover that almost nobody seems to like. but first here's a live look outside from our golden gate bridge camera. clear conditions as these drivers start to make their way to and from marin this morning. lisa said eye going
