amanda, it appears it's going to be a bumpy ride for a while? >> yes, it's certainly been a really wild ride. we just clocked our fourth day of massive moves. in all different directions. this one fortunately, was a fabulous close reversing most of yesterday's plunge. we can safely say now that this has been wall street's most volatile weekend since 2008. first things first. let me put it in perspective. not a huge amount of things have changed from yesterday. but a lot of these swings are based on fear and sentiment and i guess by definition that's quite often irrational and today was better on a number of factors. one, we got cisco systems coming out with strong quarterly results stock up 17% today and hopefully that bodes well for other technology stocks. we also got news on the jobs' front and we really want good news on the economy. fewer americans joining the unemployment line last week and mortgage rates are record lows which we hope will help the housing market. >> a lot of good news here and in the states today but how closely is wall s
