amanda hari kron, 4 news. >> amanda, thank you. now to some breaking news tonight. a months-long manhunt comes to a close. the alleged killer of 8 year-old sophia mason has been arrested. 34 year-old dhante jackson had outstanding murder and felony child abuse warrant out for his arrest and sophia's death. the child was reported missing from hayward earlier this year. sophia's body was found inside of a home anmer said back on march, 11th where jackson lived. jackson has been on the run since then. details have also emerged. jackson may have physically and sexually abused the child prior to her death. the co defendant and sophia's homicide as her mother, samantha johnson. she has already been arrested previously on murder and felony child abuse charges after sophia's body was found. to allay now where police are investigating the shooting death of a 23 year-old man. it happened around 6.30 yesterday evening on sonoma boulevard near nebraska street. police say the victim was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound and he was later pronounced dead. the motive

live in pacifica, amanda hari kron. 4 news. >> all right, amanda, thanks a lot. the light rain and windy weather prompting service disruptions on the san francisco bay ferry today. the agency took to twitter shortly before one this afternoon to announce those disruptions saying, quote, we're experiencing some service disruptions and cancellations due to dodgy conditions in the bay. but it looks like those ferries were able to resume service around 3.30, this afternoon. >> bart also dealt with some service disruptions earlier due to the weather, the transit agency reporting several trains became disabled between embarcadero and lake merritt. that happened around 11:00am 2 of those trains were on the oakland side forcing eastbound trains to turn back to san francisco. luckily ac transit did offer some free rides across the bay for those bart riders. things were able to get back to normal, though train started moving again about 2 hours later. we've got a developing story tonight out of the city. an explosion in san francisco's tenderloin neighborhood. >> shattering
