for most americans, when they found out that america's most hostile foreign adversary had, for most of a week been floating a spy craft down across, first into alaska and down through canada, entering the united states somewhere around the idaho/montana area and spending several days leisurely touring the american heartland until it was finally shut down once it got past the coast of south carolina, headed toward the atlantic ocean. that sounds like a really big deal that i think has alarmed a lot of people. i wonder if you can just give us a little bit of context at the 20,000 foot level on what -- on how you are thinking and processing this event and sort of how americans might think about it. >> for me, this is a penetration of a nations sovereign territory for any reason, it's a significant event in a significant concern. on top of that, the penetration of our sovereign territory for the purposes of espionage or spying is doubly concerning to me. my initial thought, to be honest, i asked why would you do this at all, what then if it to you think this would generate for you? secondly, why would you choose to do this now at a time when senior lea
