of the preps here, the red carpet already rolled out. the stage is beautiful. it is set. there is definitely a great vibe here in new york city here at the american natural history museum ascredible human beings, the top ten heroes for 2017. out of those you have voted. the people around the world have voted to award that one hero of the year. this is the night that we begin to really get to know the stories of some of these individuals. a tremendous line. the main objective here is to honor these incredible people not just from around the country but around the world. people who are making that positive difference in the little tiny pockets that perhaps may go unnoticed. i had a chance to speak to one of the top ten heroes telling me that their organization that helps some of the young adults that are fighting cancer to really this organization has only grown after becoming one of the top ten heroes. it is going to be interesting to hear some of the stories and meeting some of the people very big night lined up here on cnn. we know many people will be watching tonight at 8 p.m. >> so inspirational and have that hanky because it is also incredibly emotional, too. such pas
