the american red cross constantly puts out a message saying they need all types of blood.f you can, please do not. >> doctor, let me ask you about this. many of the victims were taken to several different hospitals throughout the area. i'm not sure if you're familiar with the hospitals down there. one including the university medical center of el paso, it's a trauma one medical center there. at least one person there died. they say it's a trauma one medical center. give me a sense of what that means. >> it's a level one trauma center. we have a trauma designation. that means they're set up for immediate trauma. if somebody has all the surgical staff on the on hand, and they're ready to go but even in situations like this, they're going to have certain surgical teams, so they can get overwhelmed. that's where the other hospitals come into play because they can bring in people as well. in a hospital in a given area, they constantly train. in my emergency, the same thing, we constantly train on what to do when we have a mass casualty situation. and you start calling all the r
