this afternoon, green iowa americorps sta and volunteers planted two acres of pollinator attracting plants at the cedar rapids- linn county solid waste agency. this will help bring more bees, birds, and butterflies. the solid waste agency is doing this for species that have damaged or destroyed habitatat "if we want to keep eating the foods that we enjoy eating specifically the apples and the different nuts and berries we want those pollinators because they're required in order2to make those foods.
