from the chinatown area with more on this stoumplt any word whether they will have a quiet car like amtrak does? >> reporter: no word yet, but, yeah, it has been frustrating for a lot of people who are down on the unrground platform and they realize they forgot something for a meeting or forgot something at home, they try to place a call and can't get a cell phone signal. that could become a thing othe past very soon here. over the next two months, sprint, nextel, at&t and nextel mobile are going to install equipment at 20 metro stations. verizon folks are the only ones to get coverage in the underground platforms and tunnels. installation workill be done while the stations are closed, so it shouldn't be a disruption to service at all. wfos can expect to see large cabinet-like structures to house the electronics at the end of platforms. they will also add cables and antenn and should be able to make calls and surf the web. if you are a workaholic, you will start to see the work on october 16. they will expand this into all the stations soon. >> it will drive a lot of folks nuts if they are
