amtrak is even using buses in some spots for the time being. but take a look at this new video that we just got from north carolina. this is the scene of the crash within the past 30 minutes. part of the train is still on its side. we do see some workers trying to get this all cleaned up. now, passersby reported the train crashing into the tractor-trailer yesterday afternoon in halifax, north carolina. take a look. scary moments for those on and off the train on its way toll philadelphia at the time. the truck was trying to make a turn and got stuck and was not able to move out of the way in time. here are two people who were on board when they say they felt a big jolt. >> you're riding on the train and not expecting to stop suddenly. expecting halifax in the middle of nowhere. >> it's been some experience. i mean falling asleep comfortably on amtrak that i've been riding on for 20 years. and all of a sudden you're awake and just a crash. and you're thrown forward a little bit. and it's like, nobody knows what is happening or what is wrong. >>
