we want to get to abc 7 news reporter amy holleyfield. a dramatic fire from last night and, amy, another one burning behind you? >> reporter: huge fire in hayward. behind the fire we were covering. i can tell that water is getting put on this one. it was a really big fire a few seconds ago. we can't tell what's burning. right next to homes where we saw lights getting turned on. people woke up and realized there was a fire outside their window. very dangerous embers shooting into the air. we saw some headed our way so we had to back up. firefighters were running to get to this when they saw it and they saw how big it was. the tree was cashing on fire. now let me give you some perspective of how we discovered this. we're up here on an apartment balcony right down there is where there was a fire last night. this crew is here cleaning up from that fire when we discovered the one that's happening right now. so let me show you video from the fire we were originally covering. this one happened at 11:00 in hayward in an apartment complex on sevent
