right now we'll talk to amy hollyf she's been all over the place and now here in downtown san franci e embarcadero statio amy. hi, amy. hi, good mornin. i'm here in san francisco. we wer five minutes late. the train operator did announce we wer going through orinda becaus track issues. he was very soft-spoken so i only caught every other word. someth about a track issue we went slower. so five minutes late. here is some video of my journe it does pay to travel early, that my mine-of-main issue i learne this morning, even at 4:48 in antioch this morning the trains were full. all th seats were full. there room, though, for standi room only. obviou the closer we got to the city, the more crowded it got but it was still manageable. now, b.a.r.t. started a new schedu just yesterday. they a starting an hour late, their services, every day for the next few years because of earthq retrofit. i asked a man on board about the crowds he sai that is definitely making a difference. >> went through the schedule change hopefu they will get more trains >> one thing that b.a.r.t. riders frequently ment

we be abc 7 news reporter amy hollyf amy, where are you now? >> i'm in walnut creek. i just traveled here from antioc the main lesson i've learned so far is it pays to start your day early. start that journey early. the train was already crowded at 4:48 this morning. that first train out of antioch, standi room only. howeve there was still a little bit of wiggle room. you didn't feel shoved up agains the person next to you and i do keep hearing it's only going to get worse, only going to getcrowded. b.a.r. very crowded already but still a little wiggle room, so it pays to start early. 4:48 in antioch, walnut creek got here at nic it's very quiet board. people pretty much keep to themse a lot of people checking their phone. it's early in the morning, i found the train was clean. i did not see homeless people riding all night long, no one sleepi i did not see any issues like that. i did ask people about b.a.r.t. on board. a lot of them have their issues with t transit agency. many people would sigh when i asked the question they put it out, it's still the most conven op
