amy hollyfield is live at pier 29. we were able to drive up the embarcadero this morning. >> reporter: you can drive on the embarcadero this morning. but, there's a good chance people are going to slow to look at what is left. they have fenced off the area. there are still huge chunks of the facade lying on the sidewalk they roped that off during the fire and called it the collapsed zone. today firefighters will concentrate on what is left looking for the fire's cause. the fire was huge, pier 29 has 115,000 square feet of warehouse space. firefighters used every water source that was available, including water from the bay to knock this down as quickly as they could. the building was empty, no one was hurt during this fire. several tourists and a lot of locals gathered to watch and take pictures of the fire. the embarcadero was shutdown in both directions which caused a huge traffic problem in the area. firefighters dealt with this four alarm fire. >> crews did a phenomenal job containing the fire to the front building
