team coverage continues with abc7 news reporter amy hollyfield. amy? kristen, we have a visual update. look at the images. this fire is huge. usually you will see fires calm down overnight but this is still very active and raging this morning. it was a busy night for firefighters and still going strong. they still up there on the republican trying to make progress. this started at 1:30 yesterday afternoon along the east side of mt. diablo. it forced people to evacuate from their homes in clayton. crews worked hard in the hot afternoon and were hoping the cool of night would help them make progress. >> temperatures usually go down and the humidities rise and we get a better chance to do direct and indirect attack. instead, there were reports this fire has grown from 800 acres to a thousand acres. they have 10 percent of it contained. one firefighters suffered a minor injury and they lost a willing, a remote outbuilding destroyed by the fire but so far they have kept it from homes. another update on the fire, it has burned into mt. diablo state park. tha
