"early today" starts right now. good morning. i'm gigi stone woods. the backlash persists at energetic town halls from coast to coast with thousands of voters angrily voicing their concerns demanding accountability. they are packing city streets and venues from arkansas to utah to new jersey in an effort to speak to their congressmen. in many cases they are lining up for hours just to get a question to their lawmaker. now after more than 2,000 people showed up, here was the scene at arkansas senator tom cotton's town hall. it went well into the night. cotton was met with voters' heartfelt frustrations and so were other congressional members across the country. >> i can tell you three members of my family, including me, that would be dead, dead and homeless if it was not for aca. i'm an angry constituent. you work for us! >> aca! aca! >> do your job! do your job! do your job! >> the v

about two dozen people were arrested in anaheim after a night of protests. it stemmed from a shooting in anaheim involving an off duty lapd officer and a group of teenagers outside of his home. look what happened yesterday afternoon. >> he's a kid. >> this is a wild scene. there are reports it start because the police officer was angry teenagers were walking across his yard. he tried to detain one of the teenagers. then things got physical. now, no one was hit by that shot. last night hundreds of protesters though hit the streets. some of the people gathered around the officer's home in anaheim, breaking windows and shattering car windows. the crowd also tried to actually get inside the officer's house. >> it is disgusting. he pulled out a gun on a child. that is not okay. >> for them to have -- for that to happen to them. >> he was harassed about i this man. >> 24 protesters were arrested last night. as for the teenagers involved in the altercation, a 13-year- old boy was arrested for criminal threats and battery. a 15-year-old boy was also arrested for ass

the anaheim police department is conducting a full investigation after an off-duty police officer fires his gun during a scuffle with a 13 year old boy. police say the incident was part of an ongoing dispute involving juveniles walking across the officer's lawn. the off-duty officer fired a weapon during a struggle with several teens. no one was injured. that teen and another boy were arrested. the officer was placed on administrative leave. the officer says he detained the 13-year-old after the boy threatened him. the teen says he did not say he was going to shoot the officer. he said he was going to sue him. the police chief says he won't rule out charges against anyone involved. sorry bee-hive. it looks like beyonce's pregnancy is sidelini according to a statement on the singer's facebook page, beyonce will not perform at this years festival after doctors suggested a less rigourous schedule. beyonce is pregnant with twins. its' not all bad news though, the festival's already announced her as the headliner for next year. but still no word on who will be filling in for beyonce this apr
