and the program and i know that is discussed in the plans and programs and it has been a priority and so we can make sure that our vehicles are reliable in providing service and then, of course, our facility needs are extreme and even in the five year cip we are not able to meet all of the need but we are doing our best to replace and modernize the facilities and the streets, of course, walk first and the vision zero and moving forward and then i know, plans and programs, and then the transportation authority, and the cec has been asking about our backlog in traffic calming projects and we are proposing in the five year cip to clear the backlog and fully fund all of the projects that are outstanding and of course, the travel time and reliability and things like the tep and funding portions of market street over the next five years and working towards expanding the fleet for the roads that are going to be happening in san francisco. >> you are funding them and we want to know that you have the capability and ability to do all of that and so a couple of things that we did in the prior c

and we put on a panel on aging, and agism and adultment and enter generational connections and out of that task force, bill ambron joined the group in the second year, and he came up with this idea for the aging policy task force. and so, we kind of pushed this forward. we met with both supervisor campos weiner and olague at the time and we moved this forward. and this became a very, very important, important thing that do in the community. but due to health reasons, i am a long term hiv survivor and due to the fact that new land lords took over my rent controlled building where i lived for 25 years. i had to step down from the aging policy task force and i had to cut back on my work. so all of us here need to have this report. not only accepted, but really acted upon. i'm a perfect example of that. and now, i am worried about, and just about to turn 64 in a few weeks and i am worried about my housing and we just need to make this really, really happen now and not sit on the bench. so that is all that i have to say and i wanted to say that i really appreciate you can receptive to this

both the dph and the health centers and the jail health service and to help and providers understand what our criteria are and how do we access those services. and we are currently developing a and we will start this week, our first series of education and preparation sessions for the patients who are planning on under going transgender surgery within our system and specifically four, three-hour sessions that we have developed in collaboration with the center to make sure that the special challenges that are faced by our public health patients, who are resource poor, that they are getting the same education and preparation in fact, we would like to think that i... and more effective and education and preparation, than patients who might have the means to pay for these surgeries on their own. and so we are very excited about that program starting. and i want to establish a contract with dr. curtis crane to provide surgeries for our uninsured patients. and that contract has been finalized for the first year of this and it will be finalized for the second physical year of this in the ne
