anderson cooper, have you seen any evidence of that the all in your reporting? >> we've looked into it. we were given a heads up on two allegations, two stories that were floating around. unicef kind of turned us onto them. we investigated both of them. we did not get any evidence of any kind of trafficking in those two incidents. we've certainly talked to unicef and save the children who say they are certainly on the lookout. a lot of these organizations want to start tracking, get their hands around how many orphans there really are, who really is an orphan, who has family members they're separated from and want to take care of them. in have in sri lanka, there was certainly a concern about that. but kids are often sold off or given to poor families or other families living in the city, and those kids will grow up as domestic servants working for a family. so that's something that's a form of trafficking which happens right here in haiti and happened long before the earthquake. >> larry: lisa, how does trafficking work? give us the mode us op -- mo. what happe

anderson, what's the latest on our little 5-year-old survivor? >> reporter: we actually went to find him today. the last we had seen him he was being cared for by doctors from the international medical corps. they say he was showing good signs and started to eat something. he had actually passed urine which is a good sign. means his kidneys were still functioning. he was taken, we believe, by his uncle today from the hospital. so far we haven't been able to find him. we're going to try to do that tomorrow. apparently his uncle has taken him away back to the uncle's home. we're not sure. his condition seems to be okay. we came across, larry, in the pediatric ward at general hospital. there's this whole new generation of orphans now in port-au-prince and probably other places in haiti. a lot of kids whose parents have died, in the hospital who end up with nowhere to go. little boy, johnny, broken leg, with no parents examine no and no clothes. the haitian nurses couldn't send him away. he was staying on a mattress on the floor because he had nowher

what happened, anderson? >> larry, incredible doesn't even begin to describe it. one woman rescued, four more people right now being searched for in two separate sites near the national cathedral. the woman who was rescued, her name is anna zizi. she is in her 70s. the fact that a woman in her 70s was able to last a week, she says, without food, without water, it is really extraordinary. but the struggle for her life continues, larry, because getting pulled out of the rubble is one thing and being saved living is another thing entirely, and once she was pulled out of the rubble, they didn't know where to bring her. they brought her about a block away where a number of people are living in a park and there is sort of a triage set up there. but they didn't have the facilities to care for this woman. she is severely dehydrated, she has crushed bones. someone who was crushed under the rubble for this long needed immediate care. she needed surgery. they didn't know where to take her, what to do with her. some aid groups saw the broadcast, the coast guard got involved.
