it turns out where anderson was last seen is not far from the plant where her body was found. it's a situation that brings back memories of lynn spaulding, the patient who died of hydration in a general hospital stairwell. that 2013 incident sparked a change in protocol that triggers a search of the entire campus when a patient goes missing.....but that didn't happen for andersen because she was not considered a patient.i would say that's not the protocol for this kind of person because generally these people signed themselves out and may not be on the campus which is very possible but also they sign themselves off every day so something we have not established as protocol of looking for people who do not return to the behavioral health campus. now for four cold green which is a patient's disappearance we do have that protocol and every building would be searched including the shears department would have search the power plant pet stairway as well that may change after this latest tragedy. one change that has already happened since the discovery of the elderly woman's remains
