-summer andm spring back to winter. this is a transition season. this is not uncommon. we will stick with the gusty wind and cold temperature through the rest of the day today. lapse. time land -- time a few snow showers have been falling intermittently throughout the day. otherwise, glimpses of sun. single digit temperatures in frostburg with wind chill values that minus zero. the current wind gust in d.c., 31 mile per hour wind gust. a strong northwesterly wind making the temperatures feel that much colder. it feels like 13 downtown. 20 degrees is the feels like factoring culpeper. clear skies and abundant sunshine. it is not helping warm us up. the storm system that moved through yesterday has moved off to the north. with this strong pressure we get the strong pressure gradient and that is what is bringing us these gusty winds. we will start to see some improvements in the wind and the temperatures. the jetstream is well down to our south. by tomorrow, it will lift to the north. we have forecast highs for tomorrow getting back into the 50's. a big difference tomorrow
