joining me now is attorney general of massachusetts, andrea campbell. thank you for joining me today, attorney general. >> thank you for having me. >> glad to have you. let's get right to last week's supreme court ruling. as you know, the high court struck down on a race based mission policy at the university of north carolina and hoffman in your home state. you've been one to see the impact of affirmative action bans firsthand. we were studying at ucla or school, with the passage of proposition 209 and the state affirmative action programs in california. how will this decision affect americas colleges and universities going forward? >> it will certainly have an effect on numbers and the diversity goals of those institutions. i think ucla law school where i attended is an example of what can happen when you have such a devastating policies that rolled back programs, initiatives that worked. i often remarked before i went to ucla, there were a ton of black graduates from the law school, post or after prop 209 in the class that was before me, there were s

in the bay area, they think it could be a break in the case of nikki campbell. andrea nakano has more on the possible leads that could finally crack this cold case. >> reporter: fairfield police confirmed 83-year-old david zantra lived here when a young girl went missing and he lived minutes away from the victim. this is where four-year-old amanda nicole campbell was last seen riding a bike to her friend's house. known as nikki, this dais had a huge impact on the neighborhood. this neighbor remembers the day nikki disappeared like it was yesterday. neighbors went knocking door to door as the community united to find the little girl. >> it was a very big deal. i'm sure if you went to any neighborhood in fairfield, you will talk to people who remember it. >> everybody was scared. >> we held our kids a little closer, a little tighter. afraid that it was in our pretty new neighborhood. who was it. >> reporter: investigators are now talking with authorities in pennsylvania where the murder of eight-year-old gretchen harrington happened. in georgia where this man currently l
