. >> next speaker >> hi, i'm andrew king daily i'm a lawyer and also a volunteer for citizens climate lobby and a proud resident of district 5 and here to voice my support to urge congress to enact a neutral carbon tax climate change is one of the greatest threats in the world and our future generations i'm grateful i live in a city and county that makes is a priority but unfortunately, there's only so much that a city and state can do it's time for congress to act. as part of my job i represent nonprofits that with or why hard to enforce regulations and air quality regulations and climate related laws this is griffin work, however, i see first hand how inadequate those laws and regulations are they're not strong enough to achieve the levels even if green house gas emissions that we need now. the quickest way to achieve those reductions is introduce a well-designed carbon tax that's outlined in the resolution. thank you for adding our voice to this moment and thank you to supervisor avalos and staff. in their leadership and thanks to all the other supervisors. thank you. next speaker.
